Mixing Time
So tomorrow I might go shopping which means going off the island! For those who don’t know, I live on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest which means that I do have an easier way of getting to the mainland than people on the other San Juan islands thanks to Deception Pass Bridge.

Unfortunately, we do still have at least 45 minutes until we actually get anywhere...

Ah, young love
Boyfriend: Well, as long as you go senile first, it should be ok
Me: Yeah, then I can drive you crazy!
Boyfriend: You do anyway.
Me: Mission accomplished.

Science Rocks...really
So we had our third Chem class today (not counting the lab on Thursday), and I’ve officially decided I love science. I’d already enjoyed it to a certain degree in the past, but unfortunately I’ve had bad experiences with profs or the style of the class (taking online biology and high school chemistry were my biggest mistakes) so I’ve never gotten as good of a grasp as I...

TV vs. School
Oh, adulthood, why must you be so cruel? My Interpersonal Communications book lies open while House Hunters steals my attention, and in the back of my mind I know that if I want to actually get any studying done, Dancing with the Stars will have to be cancelled. Do I have the willpower? I’m not sure. Somehow I have a I feeling I don’t. :(

Changing of the seasons
I absolutely adore autumn. It is, without a doubt, my favorite season. The weather, the colors, the fashion, the holidays - it’s all just perfect in my eyes. Up here in Washington, autumn usually means a combination of gray, rainy days, along with cool but sunshiney days. It’s a nice balance that I really enjoy. There are enough nice days that you can go out and enjoy with a cardigan...

Final Pretty & Cute Update
I went out shopping today at the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall (got some clothes from the Gap, a Clinique makeup/skincare package thingie, new sunglasses, and a few other knick-knacks that I’ll post pictures of later), and when I got back there was a notice on the door that my package was waiting for me at the post office!
So I just got back from waiting in line for a half hour and I got my...

Update: Pretty & Cute
So, as I had planned, I ordered a bunch of stuff from Pretty & Cute and was totally excited. I ended up spending somewhere around $50 total, including shipping (which was almost $9 USD for a 1.23 lb order, pretty reasonable to me!), but in my excitement forgot to use the ‘fuzkittie’ promo code. I didn’t realize it till this morning and I immediately sent an email to them...

Cute, affordable make-up
I was just watching fuzkittie’s newest video about Imomoko and Pretty & Cute, and after checking out the Pretty & Cute website, I’ve decided it wins the award for living up to its name. It’s an adorable website, really well laid out, and the prices are very affordable. I think the biggest problem is the shipping costs - international shipping starts at $30 USD which is...

School
I’m back to school on Monday and as geeky as it sounds, I’m uber excited. ;) I’ve loved school for as long as I can remember - the smell of freshly sharpened pencils, getting new teachers, new text books, meeting new classmates - it’s always been thrilling to me. I rarely dreaded going to school, and ever since I started college, I’ve just loved school even more. So...

Why are people so negative? Stop focusing on the bad and let yourself smile for once. You are the only one who can make yourself truly happy
